Amplifier Squad Meeting 4

Momentum is building across The Hills Shire as the Zero DFV gains greater visibility.

Last Friday, 20 February 2026, we gathered for our fourth Amplifier Squad Meeting, and what a powerful session it was. The energy in the room was strong, the ideas were practical, and the collective commitment to driving awareness across The Hills Shire was unmistakable.

We began by revisiting the purpose of the Amplifier Squad and reaffirming our shared focus for the next 12 months. Our goal is clear - to strengthen awareness and expand reach around the Zero DFV vision. This means ensuring the broader community understands that ending domestic and family violence is not the responsibility of a few, but a role we all play together.

Campaign Results – Facts, Stats and Real Engagement

One of the highlights of the session was sharing the results of our recent 60-day Facts and Stats paid campaign across Facebook and Instagram.

With a modest investment of $621, the campaign delivered strong impact:

  • 28,936 people reached
  • Over 8,000 engagements
  • 1,600 clicks
  • 459 landing page visits

Engagement was particularly strong among women, especially those aged 45 and over. This demographic showed a high level of curiosity and willingness to engage with the content, which is an encouraging sign that the messaging is resonating.

Comment activity remained low and largely supportive, and importantly, no service requests were received via social channels. This suggests the campaign successfully raised awareness while maintaining an appropriate boundary between information sharing and crisis response pathways.

Introducing the 30-Second Action Video Series

We were also excited to introduce the new 30-Second Action Video series. These short, practical videos are designed to empower individuals to take simple, achievable steps that contribute to local momentum toward Zero DFV.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. There was strong interest in sharing the content through organisational newsletters and social media platforms, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines the Amplifier Squad.

To make participation seamless, we will be rolling out a simple monthly content pack. This will include ready-to-use assets, optional captions and short snippets, making it easy for partners to amplify the message across their networks.

Looking Ahead

The thoughtful discussion around future opportunities was another highlight of the meeting. Ideas included community briefings and potential parliamentary engagement - important next steps as we continue to expand both visibility and influence.

Thank you to everyone who joined, contributed ideas and generously offered to help amplify this work. The progress we are seeing is a direct result of collective leadership and shared commitment.

Together, we are building awareness. Together, we are shifting the conversation. And together, we move closer to Zero DFV in The Hills Shire.
